1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this site and every order placed with Coherent Lab Supply LLC ("Coherent Lab Supply", "we", "us"). By confirming the statements on our verification page, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.
We may update these terms at any time. The version published when you place an order applies to that order.
2. Research use only
All material we supply is intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified people in a suitable facility. It is not a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic or medical device, has not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Material must not be administered to humans or animals, resold for human or veterinary use, or used in any clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic setting. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
3. Eligibility
By placing an order you represent and warrant that:
- you are at least 21 years of age;
- you are a qualified researcher, or are buying on behalf of a research institution, laboratory or business;
- you have the training, facilities and safety protocols needed to handle research material;
- you will comply with all laws that apply to the purchase, handling, storage and disposal of the material where you are.
4. Accounts and orders
Ordering requires a registered account, and you are responsible for keeping your login secure. Your order is an offer to buy; a contract forms only when we confirm shipment. We may decline or cancel any order, or close an account, including where we believe the statements above are untrue or where an order appears to be for personal use.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping unless stated otherwise. Kits are sold as ten vials; single vials are not offered. Discount codes apply as described at checkout and cannot be combined unless stated. We may correct pricing errors before shipment. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
6. Shipping and risk
Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Kits are shipped cold-packed; you should refrigerate or freeze them promptly on arrival. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.
7. Returns and replacements
Because of the nature of research material, opened, used or temperature-compromised items cannot be returned. If an order arrives damaged, incorrect or short, contact us through our contact page within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs, and we will replace or refund the affected items.
8. Test reports and product information
Test reports, purity figures and descriptions are provided in good faith for research reference. Each kit's lot number matches its report. You are responsible for confirming that a material suits your intended research application before use.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, material is supplied "as is" for research use, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and expressly any fitness for human or veterinary use.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the material in question, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any injury, loss or damage arising from misuse, including any use in or on a human or animal body.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coherent Lab Supply LLC, its members, employees and suppliers from any claim, loss, liability or expense arising from your breach of these terms or from your handling or use of the material supplied.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, branding, logos, artwork and data, belongs to Coherent Lab Supply LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Coherent Lab Supply LLC is organized and by applicable United States federal law, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
